Isissia Drake is a painter, art instructor, and art therapy counseling graduate student located in Chicago, IL. Her work currently includes paintings in acrylic oil  and watercolor.   

 

 She is interested in creating art that broadens, celebrates, and reflects a more authentic view of blackness countering stereotypical images in media.
